Dani Faith Leonard is a comedy writer, filmmaker, and performer, who loves immersing herself in crazy worlds and exploring strange subsets of society. As a writer and comedian, she mixes personal storytelling and social commentary through her live show, ADULT SEX ED, which asks why we think what we think about sex. Started in 2018, the show has been performed in NY (Caveat), LA (Dynasty Typewriter) and around the country with leading comedian guests. She’s an experienced filmmaker with 14 years of experience developing and producing feature films and series. From 2010 - 2021, she founded and ran Big Vision Empty Wallet, a production company and film & media incubator. Some of her past projects include:

She’s also produced and directed over a hundred live events, productions, and crazy marketing campaigns. Her career actually began in theatre, and her first production was This is Our Youth Off-Broadway as an actor and producer.
Dani splits her time between NY and LA, but she grew up in Long Island, New York, so she’ll probably make you drive around and listen to Billy Joel.
Bio
As a filmmaker and storyteller, I love going all-in, balls-deep, full-throttle and any other metaphor you can think of to convey that I fully immerse myself in crazy worlds. I’ve eaten eyeballs at a pearl farm in the Philippines, kayaked in dangerous waters while literal pirates lurked nearby, and met the Kim Kardashian of sheep* in Cyprus.
The films and shows that I’m developing now are comedic investigations into worlds that you probably never knew about. I love writing narrative projects, but also love getting my hands dirty shooting documentaries.
